Your data is yours. An owner can take a full copy at any time. The same page holds the controls to pause every automation, transfer ownership or delete the workspace. Export first, delete second.
Export your data
Only an owner can export. One export runs at a time per workspace.
- In the sidebar open Settings, then Danger zone.
- On the Export workspace data card press Export data. If you have exported before, the button reads Export again.
- Tern says Export started. The card shows Waiting to start, then a percentage such as 62% written. You can leave this page: the link is emailed to you.
- When it is done you get an email with the subject "Your (workspace name) export is ready" and a Download the export button.
- Or come back to the card and press Download. The card says since when the export is ready and until when it is available.
The file is a ZIP of your leads, conversations with messages, timeline, calls with transcripts, tasks, tickets and notes as CSV and JSON. The file and its link last 24 hours, then the file is removed and the card says the last export has expired. Press Export again for a fresh one.
Treat the email with care: anyone with the link can download the file, so do not forward it. Every download link is written to the audit log.
If the export does not arrive
- The card says The last export failed with a reason. Press Export again.
- If Tern says An export is already being prepared, wait for the email. A second export cannot start until the first ends.
- If a link says This export is no longer available. Start a new one., the 24 hours have passed.
Pause every automation
Use this when something is going wrong and you want Tern to stop acting while you look.
- Open Settings, then Danger zone.
- On the row Pause every automation press Pause everything.
- Confirm. Playbooks, automations and the bridge stop taking actions. Inbound still lands. Queued actions stay queued until you resume.
Transfer ownership
- On the row Transfer ownership press Transfer.
- Confirm. The new owner gets an email to accept within seven days. You stay as a team lead.
Delete the workspace
Deleting removes recordings, transcripts, leads, reviews and flags together. It cannot be undone once it has run.
- Export your data first, using the steps above. Check the ZIP opens.
- Open Settings, then Danger zone.
- On the row Delete this workspace press Delete workspace.
- Read the dialog. It asks every owner to confirm by email. Press Delete workspace again to go ahead, or Cancel.
- Tern says Deletion scheduled: the workspace is removed in 14 days unless an owner cancels.
- Cancel your subscription from Settings, then Billing, with Manage billing and invoices, so no further payment is taken.
If you need the workspace gone sooner, or no confirmation email reaches the owners, write to sales@fastflowup.com from an owner's address and a person will handle it.
What happens to data after you leave
- When a subscription ends, workspace data is kept for 30 days so it can be exported or the subscription resumed, then deleted.
- Deleted items leave the live database at once and leave backups within 35 days.
- Account and invoice records are kept for up to 7 years where tax and accounting law needs them.
